We’ve arrived safely to clear blue skies and sunshine. We’ve checked in to the Sutton Place, and of course bike had to be unpacked before anything else. 🙂

Then we went to City Hall to get registered. Looks like a good venue for open-air swim practice…

Those fountains are a bit bigger than the hotel pool, and probably warmer, but I managed a few laps to loosen up and the whirlpool was nice after!

The view of the city is quite cool too, though the river and trails which we saw on the way from the airport look stunning.

And a decent steak for dinner too. A good first day!
