Season ending… (post finally completed Jan 2015!)
- 7 Sep – Reading Triathlon 2014
- 14 Sep – Awesome Total for The Brain Tumour Charity
- 20 Sep – The TRI Challenge Team Triathlon 2014
- 28 Sep – HOWSC 100 Triathlon 2014
I managed three out of five of the races I had pencilled in for this month, as much racing as I could hold body and mind together for! Winning at Reading Tri was a great way to come back after the trip to Canada, particularly with Andy and Jon there too, and combining with them for 4th/68 at the TRI Challenge Team Triathlon was as much fun as always. And Try Tri Events put on another excellent season finale at the HOWSC Triathlon where I was 2nd/107 this year.
And that’s my season done. It’s time to spend a few weeks recharging the batteries, get the mountain bike out of the garage, and hopefully find some running and cycling buddies with whom to enjoy just being out in the fresh air… and to give the family a bit more of my time too! My knee still isn’t right, so I also hope to get that properly fixed before next season is upon us.
Finally, here’s the comparison between this month’s training, last month, and this month last year.
